I am an assistant professor at HFML-FELIX studying light-matter interactions with an emphasis on magnetic systems and magnetization dynamics. In particular, I actively study novel approaches for how ultrafast switching of magnetization can be driven by the infrared light delivered by the free-electron lasers.
