My research focuses on the use of infrared spectroscopy to study gas-phase molecules and small clusters, combining molecular beam experiments with quantum chemical calculations. My main current interests are:
- De-excitation mechanisms of isolated clusters and molecules
- Astrochemistry in the interstellar medium
- Reactivity and catalytic activity of mono- and bi-metallic clusters
- Chemical reactions in neutral organocatalysts
- The interaction and dynamics of weakly bound complexes
